TERMS OF SERVICE:
Customers can choose from
several payment options available:
Pay full monthly payment, due every month.
Pay one full year of service.
The full year payment is one year of service less one month. Customer
essentially receives one month free with this option. The customer is not
obligated to a year of service, however does NOT receive any credit back if the
customer decides to leave the service before the prepaid term is up.
TEMPORARY CANCELLATION POLICY:
If a customer should need to temporarily cancel service due to extended vacation or other situations, this will be handled like a regular service cancellation and the present connection/installation fee will apply when service is re-established. Services are billed on a monthly basis so any cancellation will not result in a partial refund for services already paid for. Customers are responsible for full service fees during any month that the service has been used. ITX reserves the right to collect any property of ITX during any outage of service. Should ITX get the impression that a temporary cancellation will become permanent, ITX will collect all its equipment immediately. This includes, but is not limited to antennas and power injectors.
In the event a customer does not
pay their bill on time, a late fee will be assessed immediately after the due date. ITX
will generally try to contact late customers a few weeks after their due date has passed.
In the event a customer's second bill goes unpaid, service will be disabled until payment
in full is received. ITX is responsible for customers connection even if the customer
does not use it or it is temporarily disabled due to non payment, therefore the customer is
still responsible for payment during any time their account has been disabled due to non payment.
In the Stix Broadband will provide the necessary radio equipment and surge protection to connect to the wireless uplink and provide a wired cat5 connection to a customer computer. If the customer wishes to connect multiple computers, provide firewall security, or enable wireless within the residence or business, then the customer will be responsible to purchase the necessary equipment. In the Stix Broadband will be happy to make recommendations.
In the Stix Broadband is responsible for equipment and connectivity up to the end of the cat5 cable. Any other networking equipment and computers are the responsibility of the customer. In the Stix Broadband would be happy to provide technical support for customer equipment at a rate of $30 per hour, with a minimum of a $30 charge per visit. Per hour support fees are due upon completion of the service.
GENERAL :
In the Stix Broadband does not require contracts or any obligation for residential customers. We do not offer contracts for some small businesses that agree to no contract service.
In the Stix Broadband bills during the latter half of the month prior to service being invoiced for.
In the Stix Broadband can send bills electronically over email or by standard mail. Online transactions to pay via credit card or Paypal is being investigated and implemented over the next year.
In the Stix
Broadband customers are encouraged to refer others to be In the Stix Broadband
customers. Any existing customer that refers another, and that
residence/business does subscribe, the referring customer will receive one month
free. If the referring customer paid a year ahead, the credit will be
appended to the end of the prepaid period.
